For Windows 10:
- Select the Start button.
- Type “snipping tool” in the search box located on the taskbar.
- Choose “Snipping Tool” from the list of results.
For Windows 8.1 / Windows RT 8.1:
- Swipe in from the right edge of the screen.
- Tap on “Search”. (If using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and select “Search”.)
- Enter “snipping tool” in the search box.

- If the notification disappears before you can click on it, access it by clicking on the notification icon located at the bottom right corner. Select the notification to open a paint-like application, where you can edit or save the screenshot.
