The Key Purpose of this role is to develop and execute differentiated experiences that surprise consumers & build brands.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of National Experiential Events (EE) and Events strategies.
  • Champion the execution on a regional integrated events and experiential events calendar and ensure it is sold-in and executed to achieve intended business results, volume, profit, market share and brand resonance.
  • Management of an integrated EE and Events calendar.
  • Execution of regional fiscal plans , monitoring and evaluation of all executions against plan.
  • Manage spend effectiveness.
  • Leading the experiential events and events team to achieve fiscal priorities.
  • Identifying opportunities within the trade for brands to leverage and ensuring all relevant regional opportunities are considered by brands during brand planning (through collaboration with the National Events and EE Manager).
  • Participate in all planning and execution processes. This includes all cross-functional management routines to ensure transparency of execution against plan.
  • Align regional KPIs to success measures for EE and events priorities and execution, set targets and track with transparency for senior leadership.
  • Provide monthly updates for events and EE events to National Events and EE Manager.

Key Competencies and Attributes:

  • Highly networked and considered a socialite (high in demand).
  • Ability to travel often.
  • Current consumer understanding of consumer trends to keep brands.
  • Relevant in the manner in which they engage with consumers.
  • In touch with the trends within the various geographies within the regional market.
  • Programme/ project management expertise.
  • Strategy, planning, and execution expertise.
  • Deep understanding of both brand and channel drivers from strategy through execution.
  • Credibility with all levels of management.
  • Stakeholder engagement that adds value to the brand GMs and regional GM

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-year relevant Commercial Degree.
  • At least 3-5 years within events and experiential marketing space.
