The key purpose of this role is the T1 Execution Supervisor, as the operational lead, must provide a strong link between T1 Operations, the T1 Control Room, Breweries, DCs and ADs.
Key outputs and responsibilities:
- The incumbent is responsible for identifying and investigating opportunities to optimize and transform logistics activities within the T1 network (Breweries to DCs and DCs to customers)
- Responsible for leading and managing the Control Room to ensure delivery of the T1 logistics strategy
- To achieve the objectives of this role, the incumbent is responsible for T1 execution, Control Room performance and delivery of KPIs as defined and within ABInBev standards
- Leading the Tier 1 operation across internal and external stakeholders
- Tier 1 Control Room management, administration and engagement
- Ensure optimal planning and execution of the DSNP/IDP Load plan
- Reviewing and adherence of the Shipment Scheduler plan, ensuring adherence of the optimised TMS plan and reporting thereof
- Load prioritization and allocation to prevent out of stocks
- Continuous management of service levels and VLC performance as well as routine reporting and analysis
- Routine measurement and management of contractors against set KPI’s
- Total cycle time management at Breweries, DC’s and Appointed Distributors
- Actively minimising empty collections through effective vehicle utilisation
- Adherence to contractor allocation as defined in the Procurement strategy
- Review of supply plans vs Ret Pack availability to reduce packaging downtime
- Key support role to the Rates and Payment steam in ensuring accurate and on-time supplier payments
- Implementation of key deliverables as defined in the LCP handbook for transportation scheduling and execution
- Supporting and implementation of safety initiatives
- Provide leadership for the implementation of projects to improve distribution efficiencies
- Implementation and adherence of Spotlight Track and Trace system usage and responsible for feedback on enhancements to development team
- Responsible to amend out of stock items on load plan in accordance with Spotlight stock swop out recommendations
- Conduct reviews of RCA’s and present continuous improvement initiatives to be implemented.
- Accountable and responsible for providing feedback on closing out all national tracking queries regarding open “in transit” cycles and other investigations
Profile:
- A degree or equivalent tertiary qualification with 3-5yrs operational experience in FMCG
- Experience at management level
