Requirements
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Diploma, B: Tech
or National Diploma
• Applicants with higher tertiary qualifications (e.g. B degree)
will be given preference over a National Diploma
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in tenders and
contracts administration. Preferably in IT/
Telecommunication related field.
• Proven knowledge of City’s policies and legislation would
be advantageous. i.e. CMU/SCM/Finance/ policies and
Records Management guidelines
• Computer Proficiency (MS Office Packages, SAP and
CRMS)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Performance Areas
• Undertake the contract administration tasks for the
Telecommunications Broadband Services (TBS) Branch
• Logging and Administration of contractual issues
• Assisting with performance monitoring of contracts and
vendors
• Creation and issue of reports to the Telecoms Contract
Manager
• Assist with development of new/replacement Tenders
• Communication with internal and external Service providers
(Relationship building )
• Attend SLA meetings and take minutes
• Assist the Senior Professional Officer to ensure an effective
contract management and administration of all contracts
across the TBS Branch
